Chinese-German International College
The project „Chinese-German International College of Higher Education (CDIHK)“ offers all participants of both partner universities international and intercultural experiences, and exchange opportunities as required. The aim is to establish a dual campus, in which three bachelor degree programs containing identical content can be studied. The students will become open minded world citizens, socially and multicultural competent executives/experts, who have a broad international perspective in order to be able to assert themselves in the international competitive environment.

Goals
- Development, implementation and establishment of an innovative transnational educational concept with dual campuses at TUC and SCU, respectively the first TNB-Model of its kind worldwide.
- By mirroring the study programs, a targeted and success-orientated cooperation is ensured.
- From program commencement, the integration of study and teaching, as well as research and innovation will occur.
- Improvement of the intercultural competencies of all participating students and lecturers i.e. through joint work in German-Chinese working groups in Clausthal and Chengdu or participation in exchange programs.
Structure of the cooperation programs

Programme content | An identical bachelors degree program structure of TUC is offered at SCU. The first four semesters of the degree program at SCU are filled with German language lessons and modules in the basic course-specific subjects. After that, the curriculum should run parallel in terms of time and content. |

Current Status
Prospects
- TUC will await chinese cooperation students from Wintersemester 23/24. Furthermore, at least 60 enrollments for the cooperation programme are expected.
- In Addition, an application to introduce the second joint degree programme “Digital Management“ is in preparation. This is expected to be presented to China‘s MoE in September latest.
