200 masks for mouth and nose protection donated by our Chinese partner university Tongji University

The Center for Chinese-German Socio-Cultural Exchange at Tongji University has donated 200 masks for mouth-nose protection to the China Competence Center at Clausthal University of Technology.

Tongji University's Center for Sino-German Socio-Cultural Exchange has donated 200 masks for mouth-nose protection to Clausthal University of Technology's China Competence Center.
Prof. DONG Qi is a long-time friend of TU Clausthal: Starting in 2004 as Vice President for International Affairs of Tongji University (at that time Wan Gang was President and thus his boss), later from 2012 to 2016 as Envoy Counsellor for Education in Berlin, then as Director of the Center for Chinese-German Socio-Cultural Exchange of Tongji University. Mr. Dong has visited TU Clausthal more than ten times, in 2005 and 2016 accompanying Wan Gang and most recently during our China Week 2018 for a whole week, to which Mr. Dong also contributed.
On the protective masks show, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe was quoted "It is not important that friends come together, but that they agree.".
