Offer for TU students: "University Immersion Program 2019" in Chengdu

Clausthal/Chengdu. 20 Clausthal students can take part in the "University Immersion Program" at Sichuan University in Chengdu from 30 June to 13 July. The application deadline is April 5.

Our Chinese partner university Sichuan University organizes the annual two-week summer program "University Immersion Program" (UIP), which brings together professors and students from all over the world for academic study and research. This program brings together professors from all over the world to give courses and lectures to national and international students.

Last year, 17 Clausthal students took part in the University Immersion Program for the first time. The participants gave consistently positive feedback and were very enthusiastic about the university and the city of Chengdu.

This year, Sichuan University is offering 20 places for TUC students with scholarships to cover part of the international flight costs and the full cost of their stay in Chengdu.

The "University Immersion Program 2019" from 30 June-13 July 2019 will be held in English and offers a wide range of professional and cultural exchange activities. Excursions to world historical and cultural heritage as well as natural heritage (Buddhist, Taoist temples and panda breeding center) are part of the program.

The application deadline for this year is April 5, 2019.
