China Competence Center at the TUCSTART trade fair

On April 25, the newly enrolled students were officially welcomed in the Aula Academica during the matriculation ceremony. This was followed by the TUCSTART fair from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., where central institutions of Clausthal University of Technology presented themselves.

As the China Competence Center, we were also represented with a stand and provided information about our activities and possible exchange programs between Clausthal University of Technology and Chinese partner universities. It was noticeable that the demand for summer schools or semesters abroad is increasing again - not least due to the lifting of travel restrictions. To "whet the appetite for more", Chinese snacks were offered and - as a symbol for the start of studies - fortune cookies (which did not originally come from China J) were distributed.
