China Competence Center at the Children's Summer University

After the offer at the Children's Easter University was so well received, the China Competence Center also took part in this year's Children's Summer University program at Clausthal University of Technology. Around 15 girls and boys waited curiously as the management, Dr. Lara M. Gottfried and Dr. Hong Liu-Kiel, welcomed the children to the youth center on Kleppenberg.

This time, the numbers from 1 to 10 were learned in Chinese and practiced together at bingo. There were also coloring pictures of Chinese sights and you could get a Chinese tattoo. Lunch was then prepared together again. Depending on the temperature, summer rolls could be filled or onigiri made. There was no need to take the precaution of bringing your own food because it was "sooo delicious". The few leftovers were put in the lunch box for later. We look forward to the next time and would like to thank all the children for a wonderful day!
