Summer School for students of Beihang University

Students from Beihang University came to the Research Center for Energy Storage Technology for a two-week program.

Clausthal-Zellerfeld: Students from Beihang University came to Clausthal University of Technology and the Research Center for Energy Storage Technology (EST) in Goslar for a two-week summer exchange program from 12-24 August 2019.

In addition to rigorous seminar work, the exchange students from Beijing were given tours of the institute and campus. An excursion to Wolfsburg to visit the Autostadt and various other museum visits provided variety. A highlight of the exchange program was the weekend excursion to Berlin with plenty of free time to explore the capital.

The students were particularly impressed by the cultural exchange with German students from the TUC, during which they gained an insight into life and studying at German universities during an individual program in small groups, which ended with a joint dinner with German specialities. This exchange was very popular on both sides, which naturally led to an exuberant atmosphere at the final dinner.
