Summer school with scholarship in Chengdu, China

This year, Sichuan University in Chengdu is once again inviting students to take part in the international University Immersion Program.

From June 29th to July 11th, 2024, the two-week summer program, which has been held annually since 2012, offers both professional and cultural exchange opportunities for professors and students from all over the world. An attractive supporting program of historical and cultural sights and world heritage sites (e.g. Buddhist and Taoist temples as well as the Panda Research and Breeding Center) round off the summer school. The aim of the event is to bring students from all over the world together, to make contacts and friendships and thus to promote global awareness and intercultural communication. Knowledge of Chinese is not required as the program is held in English.

For TUC Bachelor and Master students, SCU offers a total of 15 scholarships, which include the following:

  • International airfare subsidy of up to ¥3,000/person
  • Subsidy for accommodation costs for 2 weeks in double rooms amounting to ¥150/person/day
  • Subsidy for living expenses of ¥65/person/day
  • Premium insurance subsidy of ¥200/person
